These are some of the reasons why it is ideal for ladies to trim their eyebrows. Good trimmed eyebrows give women a prettier face!

Tips

  • If it's your first time to shape your eyebrows, it is good if you will trace your preffered shape before waxing, plucking or shaving.

  • Trim not just the lower part of your eyebrows but also the top part.

Introduction

There are three ways of trimming your eyebrows. First is by waxing, second is by plucking or tweezing and third is by shaving. Waxing is a little harsh and painful because we are dealing with the skin part near our eye area. But with utmost care, waxing can be done even at home.

Step 1:

The very first step we must do is to shape our eyebrows. Brush your eyebrows using an eyebrow brush or a used mascara brush to shape it definitely. If you want you can use an eyebrow pencil to draw or mark the eyebrow shape we want to obtain.

Step 2:

Waxing
Professional waxing kits can be bought on beauty bars and malls. Read the instructions first because waxing kits vary. Most require you to warm up wax with boiling water. When the wax cools down a bit, apply a small amount of wax using a small spatula on your lower eyebrows where unwanted eyebrows are situated. Let the wax dry then place the removal strips on the waxed area then after a few seconds, pull the strip. Do the same with your other eyebrow. Hair growth will be seen after two to three weeks.

Plucking or tweezing.
This hurts at first as well but when you get used to it, it will not be too painful anymore. You just have to pull eyebrow hair, one at a time using a tweezer until your desired shape is obtained. Hair growth will be seen after about two weeks.

Shaving.
Shaving is the painless way on trimming your eyebrows but you must be a lot careful because you might touch or shave the part you shouldn't take away. Close the eye on that side your are shaving and carefully trace the bottom line that you draw with the eyebrow pencil to remove the lower part of you eyebrows. Do the same with the upper part. It will be a lot easier this time. Hair growth is a lot faster when shaving. At less than a week, you could already see hair growing back again.

Step 3:

If there are still a few unwanted hairs that remain after the process, you can remove excess hairs by plucking them with tweezers. After waxing or plucking, it is good to apply soothing balms like tea tree oil to freshen up the skin on that area.
